Hi, I’m Alex Davis – better known as Alex The Car Doctor – and I’m so pumped that you’re here!
I’m from Atlanta, Georgia, and I graduated from Atlanta Technical College. I started the engines on
my career in the automotive industry when I was 18 – almost half my life ago – as an oil tech. I
changed oil for days! I’ve come a bit further since then, and have worked for auto shops the likes of
Goodyear, Midas, and Subaru. I’ve also repaired UPS and U-Haul trucks.
I eventually decided to give being a businessowner a shot, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve had my
own auto shop for half a decade, where I love working on cars and helping customers find lasting
solutions to their unique auto repair problems.
I’m blessed to have had my ride or die, my wife, by my side since 2006. She helps me run my
shop and YouTube channel, and together, we have 5 kids – future auto repair prodigies in the
making.
